Family Fish Camp

Excellent food!!! My daughter is 3 and very picky but when she saw the boiled shrimp on my plate and tried it she ate every bit of it. Quick service and the waitstaff is great. Highly recommend!!!

Took a very long time to get the food after ordered and when the food got to the table it was barely warm. Not saying I will not go back but just not something I feel like I have to go back for. The food was good but would have been a lot better if it would have been hot when it got to the table. Over all it was good

Perfection. Whole catfish, slaw, and puppies!

Atmosphere is family friendly. Food can taste salty if you’re not use to the southern cooking. The catfish are farm raised.. Ordered the grilled shrimp ( 14 regular size shrimp with fries). Shrimp was seasoned but the salt overpowered the seasoning. It stated grill on the menu but it seems as if they dip it in butter because it was oily rather than the dry grill taste you would expect from grilling. They serve with hush puppies which were heavily breaded and coleslaw. The jalapeño hush puppies had a bit of a kick but not enough to deter you from enjoying them. The coleslaw was finely cut/ gratered but was one of the best coleslaws I have had. Friends ordered the catfish which was better than the grill shrimp . There is only one restroom and though it’s functional, definitely in need of an update. I give it three stars because the service was great and the homey atmosphere was welcoming.

I have never had a bad meal at the family fish camp. I would recommend anyone to come try it out because you will not be disappointed.
