(October 28, 2022, 9:24 pm)I love finding off the map places that become an integral part of a journey's experience. This is one of them. Located off exit 165 on I-59 is a small outdoor sitting area surrounded by a collection of grills, stoves, and smokers.
I sampled most of the menu. I ordered two plates. Each plate comes with 2 sides. I stacked up on potato salad. Ribs and brisket were delicious. Peach pie was awesome. Ask for the hog's tail, a local favorite.
Secret recipes and southern hospitality are plentiful here. Reminded me of my grandfather's style of BBQ'ing.
