El Veracruz

It was ok. Not as much food as other places but was good and quiet for lunch.

Guac is fantastic, margaritas are good and great deal for happy hour. Overall good time and good vibe

It was nice to see tables be bussed quickly and cleaned well between customers. The level of cleanliness was above and beyond. The service was adequate, but our server had a little trouble understanding, so we went without a few things and made do with a couple of minor mistakes in our order. He was putting forth effort and was friendly, so that's worth mentioning. The food was as good as the other El Vercruz locations we have visited in and around Tupelo. The carnitas plate was a home run (the meat was meaty, not fatty), and the guacamole was fresh and light. The huevos rancheros was cooked perfectly, and the red sauce...I could eat that on just about anything. Don't be afraid to ask for the secret salsa picante, but be ready for the HEAT. It is absolutely delicious added to the chips and salsa, too.
