McAlister's Deli

When we went, it was obvious that "one of the group" was just getting off work. There were 6 girls to the side or the ordering counter, blocking employee traffic in and out of the back and customer traffic to half of the seating area. These girls were also being very loud and very crass. While that is not the restaurant's fault in any way, I'm bothered by there fact that the manager said nothing the entire time we were there. It was this group standing in the way, that caused our food to have to be remade due to then not moving and a server dropping items. Not the servers fault, at all! Just wish managers would remind minors that a restaurant is a place of business, not the local hangout.

This was my first visit here. I'm from out- of- town so my cousins who live here recommended this place. It is easy to spot from the street which was great because I don't know the area. It is clean, well lit, and the decor is beautiful. Our order was taken by Roman he was very professional, fast, and friendly. EVERYBODY greets you no matter of they are helping you or not(awesome customer service). The bathrooms are pleasantly clean. The food looked and taste amazing. There food is fresh, light, and filling. They offer salads, sandwiches, soups and sides. There are numerous options to try. I will definitely be back!

Fast service and was very tasty,had the French dip and mac n cheese. The mac wasn't the best but it was worth having I suppose. Tea is always fire!

McAlister's is one of those places in town that has been around much longer than others and can be a bit of an afterthought. It shouldn't be. The food is always prepared well and this place runs neck and neck with Newk's for my favorite salad. The Savannah Chopped Salad is a delicious lunch meal and the service is prompt with option indoor or outdoor seating.
