Mexican Restaurant in Brookhaven - Tortilla Soup

I came home to visit Brookhaven for my teacher’s retirement celebration and to my surprise, was taken to eat at the amazing Tortilla Soup restaurant. This restaurant wasn’t there the last time I visited, so I was quite happy to go. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was delicious and fresh. The margaritas were also TASTY and STRONG. They were all too eager to accommodate our large party, and we even got a personal history lesson on tequila from “Mr. Tequila” himself!

I now live in New York City where you can get amazing cuisine on every corner. However, I must say that Tortilla Soup stands alone, and I can’t wait to come and dine again! What a joy.

Very nice spot, the food was okay but the service was first rate, our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was very clean. I had tortilla soup and fajitas and my brother had quesadillas. Everything looked good but tasted okay. The salsa was really good and had great flavor. The fajita chicken was a little overcooked but edible.

By far the best restaurant I’ve tried in Brookhaven yet! My waitress Lilly was amazing! She was very attentive and friendly and even wrote a sweet note on our togo cups before we left. I tried the burrito loco and it was to die for definitely the best food/ Mexican food I’ve had in Brookhaven. I got a blackberry margarita and I recommend it to anyone wanting to try one of the margaritas! My boyfriend got a flavored corona Rita one of the biggest drinks I’ve seen served in Brookhaven and it was amazing! If I could rate this place higher I 100% one
