Afrishoppi Kitchen | Best African Restaurant

My husband and I came in almost closing time and we were still able to place an order for red snapper. We were very appreciative that we were still able to be served during their closing time. The fish was very fresh and the taste was amazing!! This was our first visit to the restaurant but we will definitely be returning again. It was so nice to meet you and your wife. Thank you all so much for the nice service and awesome food!!

4 star because there was no pounded yam! Service was great, food was amazing, Atmosphere made you feel like family! Owner was very sweet lady! I felt at home

Check out ‘Afrishoppi' – it's like a home away from home with amazing food. The staff was so inviting and welcoming that they helped explain our meal to us and the customs of how to eat it. Their dishes are packed with flavors that'll unlike any other ethnic food I’ve ever had. The staff, food and just overall experience made it all worth the money. It's a 5-star spot for sure! Make sure to stop in and check the two sisters who own the resturaunt if you visit Jackson, Mississippi.

The customer service is so amazing! The ladies we were greeted by were so friendly and welcoming; they also made sure that everything we needed we had. I recommend coming here most definitely! The picture I took does not do it justice 😭😭 My friend and I personally had the Egusi soup with fufu and my other friend had the spaghetti with shrimp and it was so good! My first friend got lemonade and my other friend and I got the hibiscus tea and it was so good y'all 😩

This was my first time trying African cuisine and I must say I was not disappointed. The oxtails were so tender and flavorful. I absolutely loved the cabbage, vegetables and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. This was truly a good comfort meal. I can’t wait to try the egusi and fufu next. Great experience here and great service as well. Thank you! I will definitely be back! Also I ordered takeout and my food didn’t even make it home lol.
