Koestler Prime

The last two meals I've had at Koestler were amazing. When they first opened, there were some growing pains, but they never left me without being satisfied. The atmosphere is great, with most of the tables relatively secluded from others. The bar also offer a nice place to have a drink and watch a game or just hang out.

Had a table for 10, Jo was a great server, place was packed, service and food was great! The person who said need more southern flavor is nuts! Everything was very flavorful and unique! Thanks Jo we had a great time! Glad y’all gave it your own name and I wish u years of success!!

Food's expensive, but it's pretty good. I think it's missing a pinch of soul. I like more interesting flavor profiles. My steak was good, but it was missing a little something special. I mean, it's fancy for around here, but a little overrated. Nice place. Just not my favorite.

I have been visiting this restaurant since I was a child; it used to be named Shapley’s until recently. Koestler Prime is where your taste buds’ dreams come true. I have tried almost every dish on the menu and I have not found one single item that does not blow my mind.
A salad will come with your meal; I highly highly highly recommend the house dressing. My favorite go-to appetizers are the crab claws, hot tamales and the escargot. My favorite entree, along with the fried shrimp, is a melt-in-your-mouth (literally) 10-12 ounce medium rare filet accompanied by lump crab meat, crab stuffed shrimp and the angel hair pasta with cream sauce. Other wonderful sides are the cream spinach, mushrooms, asparagus with hollandaise and scalloped potatoes. My mouth is watering! You will not be disappointed with your visit to Koestler Prime.
