Sal and Phil's

P let me start by saying I have loved sal & phil's for years. I have been a frequent customer with myself only and with my family and I will continue to do so. love the atmosphere and always recommend them to people and I will continue. Bartender was great gave great customer service great beer recommendations had a sour that was exquisite.

Speaking as a frequent customer and as a shift myself my food was not that great this time and it always has been in the past. I was not pleased at all with their representation of an etouffee I will be honest I had not had it before and my first time was disappointing. This was not an example of any etouffee that I trained that I trained people to cook or that I received training to cook myself. if you look up a picture of it to fade this did not look anything like it it looked like a watered down gumbo. Etouffy is usually thick and Rich with rice a good bit of tomato paste and diced tomatoes along with whatever seafood that you have in it and this was nothing of the kind if you look at it and look at pictures it was nothing like that. The lunch special stuffed flounder was good a little dry a little overcooked and not quite hot but it was good flavor. as I said the first time I've ever had a negative experience and the bartender assured me that this was there at 2:00 I just had never had anything like this at all in my life. I will continue to patronage as always

Excellent ambience with a NOLA vibe! Food was amazing and the crawfish poboy I had was one of the best I have ever tasted! Let's not forget the perfectly soft/crispy fries, too! My hubby and I happened upon Sales and Phil's by accident! What a great surprise!

Sandwich was very very good. First time I ate there for lunch. Will go there again for lunch. Crab claws and onion rings were very good as well.

Wonderful food. Great atmosphere and waitresses we're nice. ?
