Second Street Bean

This coffee shop hits different. At every turn, you see the eclectic taste of the owners with arts displaying every wall. Visual artists are invited near and far, some painting murals outside, some hanging paintings, drawings and prints of photography. It's really THE spot in Columbia. (It's a secret though, so don't tell anyone)

Super cute spot! Good mix of regular table-and-chairs seating and the cozy couches and armchairs that you'd hope for in a coffee shop. It was steadily busy through the late morning and afternoon while I was there, but never so crowded that folks couldn't find a seat. The tables are well-spaced and the baristas wore masks, so it's social distancing friendly.
I had a sausage breakfast sandwich and the Cinnamon Roll latté - both were excellent, and I can't wait to try out more of their menu. They have a fast wifi connection and a punch card for your 10th coffee free, so they really have everything you could ask for! This will definitely be a regular spot for me.

Second Street is a gem. The staff are fantastic and I've never had a bad meal or pastry from here. Their specials are always amazing.

Good coffee, decent prices and I like the whole library/coffee shop vibe the place has.. grab a seat at a table wit stools, the counter or in a comfy chair around a Coffee Table.. Hey.. is that why they... Nevermind... Does a great job at being smart and serene without the pretentious feel of a place trying to be something it's not.. Well done Second Street... Well done indeed..
