The Rib Shack

The cat fish dinner was delicious. Cold slaw reminded me of my grade school days 😃 Having the ribs for Easter dinner. Enjoyed everything from the service to the food.

Tonight the food was not so great. The rib tips were old, tuff and cold. Gave it away. Wasted my money.
The service was good.

I'm here to tell all y'all about the excellent service and outstanding food at The Rib Shack in Amory.
My friends and I were on the hunt for a place to enjoy time together with some food and drinks, and made a fortuitous call to this fine establishment. After a few quick questions, we decided to zip on over, and we were MET AT THE DOOR by the absolute best server we could have asked for. Every person there went out of their way to make sure we had an outstanding experience!
I'm a big girl, so when I ordered my pulled pork nachos over fries, I ordered a large plate.
Baaaabaaayyy! My friend's small nacho plate came out first. At that moment, I realized that I'd bitten off more than I could chew. Literally!
The platter of nachos that was put in front of me could have fed an army, and they were so good that I'm still snatching bites out of my take home plate that I shared with my hubby.
There is no doubt that this is the best food in Amory.
I'm giving all my stars and all my thanks for such an amazing meal and such personal attention.

It's a great hometown rib joint with a straightforward menu and friendly staff. I've had the BBQ ribs and the fried catfish plate so far. The food is priced comparable to the local market. Service is fairly quick but I would recommend calling your order in ahead of time to eliminate the wait. Seating in the restaurant section is limited to about 12, but most people get their orders to-go. They've added quite a few lunch specials since my first visit.
