The Marketplace at Perry

I've been a student at MSU for a long time. I can say that this is one of the coolest old buildings on campus, and the staff are always so kind and accommodating. Aramark certainly has things it needs to improve with it's on campus dining, but it has done alright with the Perry. It's one of my favorite places to eat and work as well.

Food was delicious for a decent price.
Buffet style too!

This is the old and main dinning hall in MSU. It’s mostly famous as ‘Perry’s cafeteria’. Most of the dorm students eat here everyday with their block meals. Even if you do not have block meals, you can eat here by paying. I always love to eat here. The breakfast is sumptuous and heavy. The live omelette station is my favorite. The southern staple ( grits - biscuit and gravy with some sausage links/ patties ) is very filling. Also you will get oatmeal / cereal etc. For lunch or dinner they always post their weekly menu on website. So you can have a look before you go. I love their grilled veggies, fried catfish, meatloaf. It’s a must try when you are on campus, and always a good value for your money.
