(August 17, 2019, 4:34 pm)The absolute best smoked meats and BBQ in Starkville. The ribs have a deep, smoky flavor. They're tender and succulent. They're wonderfully moist. This is the kind of BBQ you get from along, low, loving smoke, not the sad mush you get at Lil Dooey or the burned, dry jerky at Petty's. The sauce is amazing. It's sweet and smokey with a hint of vinegary tang to compliment the sweetness and a very subtle undertone of spice. The beans are amazing. Sweet and spiced perfectly. And the smoked chicken is in that perfectly smoked place where it's juicy and soft but not overcooked. The pit master knows his trade well.
