The Burger Shop on the Square

We really enjoyed our whole experience in the burger shop.lots of good menu items.high quility and hometown friendly.

Burger was excellent. However, there is not adequate ventilation so smoke from the grill filled the room. I want to enjoy my food but not smell like it all day.

Oh my goodness! This is one of Batesville's best kept secrets! I have been seeing posts on Facebook about the Burger Shop, and I thought we'd give them a try. I had the hamburger steak with onions and potatoes and gravy. It came with asparagus as well. Absolutely delicious! Cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. My husband had a burger that leaves me without words. It was huge! It, too, was cooked perfectly. It had a southwest omelette ON the burger! He had to eat it with a knife and fork. He was halfway through the burger, and there was steam still coming off the burger. He said he would definitely order it again.
The shop is quaint with patio tables and chairs and longer tables for larger groups. The staff was pleasant, and that makes us want to return.
They have a large selection on their menu, and they're not limited to burgers only. We will certainly be back!
