Good Boy Po’boys

I enjoyed Bolts Philly!!! It was great!!! Somehow the gravy and cheese combined into a most perfect flavor. And the bread which I understand was made on site was so fresh and tasty.
Then they have homemade chips that left me wanting more. Good thing I did not eat more chips because I had room for the brownie treat, which was good enough to marry.

Great location. Outstanding sandwich and chips. Surprisingly good service for the first day of operation. Very happy to have this place downtown!

What a great addition to downtown Brandon! They’re located in the former location of GB Bakery and part of the Georgia Blue and Genna Benna family. Their motto is “Small Menu, Big Sandwiches”, and they’re right!

They make their own bread in-house, which is delicious. Then they have some fine home-made gravy and pile the sandwiches with ingredients and toppings. They even make their own potato chips in-house. Presentation is nice, with the sandwiches wrapped and labeled in butcher paper. The building is great, historic, and has a nice ambiance. We’ll definitely be back, to try another po-boy from the menu.
