Harveys Fish Hut

First I would like to thank the staff for taking my order despite being closed. We had tried calling minutes before 5p (but was unaware of the closing time esp on MLK day). However, the staff were friendly, and still allowed us to order upon driving to the location. The food- AMAZING!!! Will definitely come back to patronize this establishment the next time we happen to be in Jackson.

Good fish and the honey hot wings were great. Only complaint is cold fries, but food was still delicious

I get the pantrout fish and one piece of whole catfish. I am always pleased and never disappointed with the price or the quality of food. Love it.

Catfish Perfectly Cooked: If you hold to the theory that local dives have the best food — and the “divier” the better — this will bolster that belief. If you don’t think that and dives make you nervous, GET OVER IT and try the fried catfish at Harvey’s Fish Hut. Catfish perfectly seasoned and cooked — crisp outside, not heavily battered, tender and moist and flaky inside. They had to have had the oil at the perfect temperature because it was not greasy. The hush puppies and fried okra were also very well done.
