Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders - Pearl

A few people gave this place good reviews I tried them out. The tenders were nothing special especially for the price. The fries could have been better as well. Service was not the fastest even though it was only maybe 3 customers.

service was fast, but guy taking our order seemed very short with us. window people were nice. the food was pretty good. sauce is great. you don't get a drink in their "combo" so it's just the entree and a side. Cole slaw is such a sad amount, for it to be considered a second side. they didn't give us a fork for it, so it couldn't be eaten at the time anyway. let's just say.. this food went straight through us, so I'm not sure that we would come back again.

Not sure what all the hullabaloo is, but then I just got chicken tenders (not sauced). The chicken was fine, the fries are the thick crinkle cut variety which I like, but I find the original dipping sauce to be..meh. It taste like mayo and ketchup mixed together with very little seasoning in it. You get coleslaw too.. but no one thought to put plastic ware (or napkins) in my takeout order.
This location is relatively new but the parking lot is an absolute wreck and should have been repaved prior to opening.
The drive through line was very long, and moved relatively well. But make sure you have all you need before driving away (drinking straw, napkins, ketchup, sauce, forks) cause you will have to go in before whipping back around in that line!
All in all, a decent chicken tender... But a little pricey.

I had to try this place based off of the reviews and the news article. The food was good, the service was good, but it wasn’t near the hype. I was really frustrated when my kids and I showed up to Dine-in, the parking lot was a mess and there wasn’t anywhere for us to sit (it was too cold and windy to sit outside). Granted, it was during a lunch rush; however, the place isn’t that big anyways. The tenders are good, but small, and have no flavor outside of the dipping sauce (the sweet heat sauce is the bomb, as stated by another review). The magoo’s sauce I wasn’t impressed with though it tasted like it had a ton of Mayo in it. The sandwich and wrap were good, and the fries were well seasoned. We’ll go back, only if we’re already over there, and maybe try the grilled strips to see if they are any better than the breaded. Overall, I paid $42 for similar food I can get elsewhere, and did not get drinks (I guess they’re not included) but, the food is good.

It was delicious!! though i might say i give 4 stars because the chicken was a bit small for me. i got dine in and the chicken tenders though were small but were super tasty!! i recommend this place and
idk if the lemonade is fresh but man is it good. i love this place and happy to have it . pearl
