El Ranchito is a local hidden gem. The portions are huge, the prices are surprisingly cheap, the quality of food is great (especially for the area of the country it’s in) and the staff is always friendly. I am snooty regarding seafood not eaten near a coastline because it’s not fresh, however, about a year ago I was craving shrimp on one of the many occasions visiting El Ranchito, and I haven’t gone back to anything since. I order shrimp every single time - it’s reliably delicious, whether it’s in a taco, enchilada, quesadilla or prepared any other way! Everything else on the menu is delicious also, including my other go-to: the steak tacos. Also, the salsa is my favorite part of the meal. Try this restaurant at least once and I’m sure you’ll want more.

100% my favorite Mexican restaurant in the entire state. Runs very very close with my favorite Mexican food I’ve ever had. The service is always fantastic, quick, and kind. In my many years of coming there, I cant think of a single time my order was wrong. The rice and beans alone are worth a trip for me. I’ve not been disappointed in a single thing I’ve gotten there.

My recommendations for a meal? Chicken P5 or el plato feliz (the happy plate!), extra queso. The rice, chicken, and cheese are sooo good. If you want good, cheap mexican food, this is the place to go!
