“Great new place here in Brandon. It’s conveniently located in the plaza in front of the City of Brandon Municipal Complex. My first visit, I had a shrimp po-boy that was delicious. My next visit, I enjoyed Taco Tuesday. The beef tacos had just the right about of spice to them. Service has been excellent, they have a full bar, and Jake is a wonderful operator, as he’s always on the go, checking on tables. Jake’s is a welcomed addition to the area.”

“One of my favorite restaurants in the Jackson area for a blue plate special. I love their breakfast (available all day) and their blue plate chicken and dumplings. You really can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend getting the biscuit (available all day too) instead of the roll or corn bread. You can also order some of their famous cakes as a dessert or to-go. They have very friendly service.”

“Excellent service! I’m addicted to Taco Bell, and the service/quality at the Lakeland Dr., Flowood location surpasses the others by far. Especially the managers, all 3 or 4 of them. The Cheesy Gordita Crunch was unfortunately taken off the menu, but the staff at the Lakeland Dr. store always make it for me. Nice to be able to ask a simple request and have it answered. “I love that you can now self serve yourself here as long as you are wearing their provided gloves! Food is amazing and the workers are really nice! I always get an amazing waitress here. The hostess that checks people out isn’t so friendly, but the waitress and cooks make up for that.”
