The food was awesome and the atmosphere was great my family and I really enjoyed our visit here will go back.
They had great freshly prepared food with great service with a nice sociable atmosphere
Since NOLA's now opens in the evening, and their menu has changed, the vibe is a bit different.
Perhaps because it's now "After Hours", there's a small bar, and the open setting allows for every guest to share the cute little space with their parties intimately, yet together.
The same NOLA patrons that used to go for lunch are off the clock, ready to wind down, and are more chill; and considering the cultural behaviors in the area, those who aren't "regulars" are able to walk-in, receive a professional warm welcome, and enjoy some great food, and good service without being rushed, feeling awkward, or out of place (besides that good ol' "head turn" in unison that happens when you first walk into a spot, and look brand new)...
The "new" NOLA's, so far, seems to understand the importance of diversifying, at least in presentation and service, and for the small town it serves, this is a good thing.
It would be interesting to know if staff felt the same. Nevertheless, the staff is diverse, friendly, and upbeat, and the food is really good!
I ordered takeout from there yesterday. The food was amazing that’s why I’m leaving a review. The fried okra was nothing like I’ve ever tasted. I also had the chicken Alfredo it was amazing. This place is definitely a 5 star place. I didn’t sit in but the atmosphere looked peaceful and everyone was nice. I like it . I highly recommend it
