Biscuits Steakhouse. Great steaks cooked just the way you want. The best fried chicken tenders I have ever had. Mississippi raised Catfish fried or grilled to perfection. For a special treat try the chocolate chip skillet cookie with ice cream. My favorite place to dine in or carry out. They also do catering.
Restaurant name has changed to Biscuit's Steakhouse. Still great food at reasonable prices, with great service.
Biscuit's -- named for the owner, not a menu item (in fact, there's not a biscuit to be seen) -- offers a well-stocked salad bar, pretty good steaks, and good peel and eat shrimp. Friends found the fried oysters tasty, but complained that they were smaller than expected. Hungry diners should order the Hoss -- a 32-ounce "sirloin for 2" that could easily feed four. The yeast rolls served with our entrees were forgettable, and left us wishing that Biscuit's would have greeted us with a huge basket of fresh biscuits upon arrival. That touch -- great, big, warm homemade biscuits -- could put this rural dining experience over the top, making it even more worth the drive out to Ripley.
All freshly cooked.
