Velma Jeans Chicken & Waffles

Check out the ribs at this place. They're so good. Perfect smoke ring and tasted so good. Fried okra was off the chain. Can't wait to go back.

Just ate at Velma Jean's and it was wonderful. The food was really good. I recommend the BBQ ribs or the chicken sandwich. The prices were very reasonable and the staff is very attentive and super friendly. I will definitely go back!

All I can say is WOW! My sister said it best but I will throw in my 10 Cents. This place is Amazing! They really need to be featured on the Food Network or get their own Food Reality Show like Sweetie Pies. I'm Just Saying, Tylertown has a true Diamond in the Rough here. Placed a special order and received generous portions of chicken, ribs, macaroni and cheese, red beans and rice and chicken wings. The food was absolutely delicious. My family was licking their fingers. We didn’t even have room for our salad. Will definitely reorder when I’m serving home cooked meals?? Thank you Velma Jeans

I LOVED everything about their food! The chicken, the mac&cheese, the ribs, the chicken wings all AMAZING! I will for sure be coming back again and again. I had to hide my mac&cheese left overs in the fridge so my family wouldn’t find it. Lastly, everything smells like love. I was excited before I had my first bite because the food smelled so amazing. Job well done!
