Caught lunch here the other day.

The cashier talked me into a cheeseburger. Got that, fried okra, and some red beans and rice. The burger was very good. Nothing to complain about, and it filled me up! The okra has been some of the best I've had in a while. And the red beans? Well, they taste like mine. They are pretty good, and I would get them again.

I wished I'd gone the BBQ or po'boy route. I think that is the reason why I came here. But... like I said, the cashier talked me into the cheeseburger. It just means I got to come back.

Good food at a decent price. Try it out.

My first visit was on Friday night. Parking with a full-size vehicle is very difficult and limited on site. I would like to know if there are areas around the restaurant for additional parking. The atmosphere is set to resemble an old Vicksburg Cafe with about a dozen tables inside and an outdoor patio also available. Service is cashier only. So, initial orders and additional adult beverages are ordered with the cashier and delivered to you. Food was delivered quickly and was as ordered. The shrimp and grits were the best item ordered. The grits were not plain with grilled shrimp on top. They were well seasoned and had crawfish in them. Additionally, the onion rings are handmade and a wonderfully side item for the catfish platter. I will be ordering a bowl of them very soon. My wife and I will be back often. Just in a smaller vehicle.

Food was amazing! Flavors were perfect! Atmosphere was very welcoming! Fried and blackened shrimp was cooked to perfection. Have had red beans and sausage so good since I was a kids at grandma house! The crab cakes are definitely a must try . At the end of our meal the owner gave us some of his white chocolate bread pudding and baby let me tell you it was Heavenly! Definitely a stop you want to add to your list while in the Vicksburg area! Thank yall for making us feel so welcome and full!

A great new Cajun/BBQ spot in Vicksburg! The building has been totally revamped, the space is beautiful. Huge outdoor patio and seating area, and plenty of space inside. Parking is a little tight, so be careful.

The menu is still evolving, but has a great mix of Cajun food like gumbos, red beans and rice, po’ boys, and seafood as well as plenty of barbecue options like pulled pork and baby back ribs. Daily specials too. Go give them a try!
