First time visiting Suge’s BBQ & Soulfood, today I ordered the ribs...this was one of the best tasting meals I have every had. Additionally, I experienced something completely different today as well, throughout my adulthood I had never tasted chicken gizzards and to my surprise the staff somehow convinced me to sample some and “WOW”. Also, I had the privilege of meeting the owner “Clyde”, he came out and spent time talking with me and I really had the opportunity to experience the hometown favor of Vicksburg, MS. Thanks for the experience.

Ok, so I'm from the north. We obviously don't know anything about BBQ. Fantastic food and the folks are the nicest people in the world!!

This is my go to place for ribs, fried catfish, pork chops and burgers. Call your order in because everything is grilled to order. You will not be sorry for the wait. You can taste the smoky freshness. A quick note, the daily specials like the lasagna, spaghetti or meatloaf are awesome!

Really good ribs. Tender. Juicy, even without BBQ sauce. Good smokey flavor. Homemade spice rub was not over- bearing unlike some places I've been to. Not salty either. I'm on a low salt diet and these were perfect for me. (Visited 6-23-2020.) Cornbread moist, but a little sweet for me. Black-eyed peas OK. They were also a little sweet from sugar. I personally do not put sugar in my vegetables. It had a little hot sauce in it. Wasn't real hot, just enough to tingle your tongue. 🤗 Candied sweet potatoes were good, I think they were fresh made, not from a can. He added a little cinnamon to them for best flavor.
