“This has been the best corporate-owned restaurant in Greenville. To keep things running smoothly, I often see the manager in the restaurant keeping an eye on things but even when he’s not around the place is amazing. I haven’t had a single issue and the service is beyond any expectations you might have for a restaurant and they will correct any issues you may have within their abilities. The food is rather good, the fries haven’t been cold, and I find myself going here at least once a week. I hope everyone that works here can give themselves a swell-deserved pat on the back :)”

“I've been eating at Cicero's for years. Although I'm no longer living in the area, I visit with relatives whenever I'm in the area. The philly steak sandwiches use to be amazing, but I've been disappointed on my last couple of tries. On this visit, I decided to switch things up and try the fried catfish. I requested 2 pieces fried crispy because they provide rather large pieces of fish. The fish was fried to my liking but could have used a tad more seasoning. I typically like more salt, but the other guest thought it was perfect. It normally comes with a side salad and a side, but I requested 2 orders of coleslaw instead. It was really good! We were also offered hot, fresh bread which was a nice surprise. The hot tamales had good flavor, but I would have liked more meat on the inside. There was just too much breading. As for the restaurant itself, the side room is newly remodeled compared to the main dining area. There are really cool wall hangings on the walls that will definitely keep the conversation flowing.”

“Food was so good got some more to go for later downside is during that time the grease had gotten burnt so my food I took home tasted like the burnt grease it was close to closing time ......but the service and food was great up until the last 30 min they were open guess everybody has a bad day every now and then but chicken. Don't taste very good in burnt grease it had smoked up the whole place inside I guess somebody new thought when they changed it if they turned up the temp it would get hotter quicker....yeah that didn't go very well..”

“My husband and I eat here at least once per week and we have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and tastes great. The salsa is always on point! Nothing I’ve had there has been disappointing. Haley is usually our server and she is awesome. Very friendly and takes good care of us. Eugene always speaks and/or chats with us and always asks if we have everything we need and how the food is. This is a very laid back place to eat and have a drink if you enjoy a calm atmosphere. We highly recommend it.”

“Fast service food came out really fast and when I ordered the prong shrimps I asked for different sauces that can go with it so I got tempi sauce, duck sauce and Ell sauce, the Ell sauce is a thick soy sauce base is what it taste like, the duck sauce it has sorta a sweet and sour taste but has a bland taste too, the tempi sauce is pretty good sauce I would have with it. The oinion sauce is a good grilled onion taste with the chicken stock consistency to it. The rice and chicken I got was teriyaki chicken, make sure to put the rice in the bowl with the chicken to get that teriyaki taste or the chicken has almost a plain taste too it. The spring roll was good with the duck sauce, and the California rolls has a taste like a fresh cut cucumber taste to it, so all in all it is something I would come back and try something different as well on the menu.”

“After hearing from a few locals that Rivals has some of the best steak around, we decided to check it out. It was a late summer afternoon and we were only 17 minutes away, so why not.. The inside was kinda lively even with a small crowd of what appeared to be the mostly locals. We sat at the bar ordered a few cold Corona’s and a T bone steak, Medium, baked potato and a house salad. The bartender was also a server and apparently the cashier as well, but she seem to be handling the task. The steak was cooked to temperature and seasoned ok, nothing to be celebrated but ultimately no complaints.”
