That's It The Coup, (The Coop)

Ummmm...initial thought upon arriving here was "What have I gotten us into?.?.?." Glad we still went in. The "down home" service was better than anywhere I've been since COVID. The food I swear was 100% made from scratch. I didn't see ANYTHING that looked pre manufactured AT ALL. Smoked meatloaf...PHENOMENAL...fried chicken strips...all hand breaded and fried...FREAKING AMAZING...every single side from mashed potatoes to Mac and cheese to potato casserole was beyond better than anywhere else! They even butted your roll for you. If we ever come through again we will for sure stop by here first. This place definitely deserves my 5 star rating.

Little hole-in-in-wall restaurant. Food was fantastic. Prices were great. And the ladies running it were super nice :).We did show up in the middle of lunch- so it was a bit of a wait after ordering. Was certainly worth it :)

Parking is a little wonky, but we figured it out

I tried this place because of the reviews. Maybe it was an off day. The chicken fried steak was nothing more than an over cooked, over breaded hamburger patty. Hash browns tasted like the freeze dried kind. I asked for two eggs and got one. Over easy was served over hard and the English muffin wasn’t even toasted. Just not good. I did see bbq and burgers coming out of the kitchen that looked great. Like I said, maybe just an off day. The ladies working were cool, friendly and obviously work hard. Maybe I’ll try it again, just not breakfast.

My family always looks for good places to eat that are NOT chain restaurants…we look for fresh food, cooked on order. We like to feel like we’re right at home. On our way home from our weekend adventure we discovered this place and it did NOT disappoint. Great food, better service, our hosts were the BEST. We’re not afraid to adventure and NEVER judge books by their cover, hope you do the same and give these nice folks a visit, it’s worth it. Get off the beaten path, enjoy life…We will be back!

I had the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast. It was Perfection! Flavorful inside and out. The Gravy, The Gravy...I wanted to put it on everything! My daughter had the Smoked Pork Chops. They were smokey, tender and juicy. No sauce needed! Blueberry Cheesecake was very good...and I typically don't like blueberries.
