    Tex Red's is alright for small town mid-MO BBQ. Good ribs, fries, beans & slaw. The spicy BBQ sauce actually does have some heat to it. Not up to Kansas City standards, but no BBQ in mid-MO is. Like most small town BBQ in mid-MO the brisket isn't that good.

    I always get the brisket dinner with baked beans and coleslaw. Excellent food and friendly staff.

    Lots of items on the menu to choose from. Prices are reasonable for a small town. The serving sizes are big but the homemade pies are the bomb. Coconut cream is my absolute favorite!

    The bbq plate was wonderful! I wanted to try one of their delicious sounding pies but they were sold out so must be worthwhile!!
