Our favorite BBQ place in Columbia by far. The meat is super tender and there are many sauces to choose from. A bit of a drive from our house but each trip is well worth the flavor. The wait time is a hit or miss. There are times we go and the wait for food is within 20 minutes and other times you could be waiting up to an hour for 2 people. Their prices are reasonable and they have many options.

Don't let the fact that it's in the same building as a gas station deter you, this place is so amazing! I'm sure there's a lot of other things on the menu that are good but I love the "No Disgrace" so much I can't order anything else. You need at least five napkins to eat it but that hasn't stopped me yet. Normally at any other restaurant I'd probably not get fries but you have to order them here. I've tried my family's orders and the ribs are good and the Big Texas but I'll keep ordering my "No Disgrace".

It's good, service was excellent. Smoked meats were tasty, pork steak lived up to it's reputation as " best dish on the menu." Side dish portions were a bit small and less than stellar. Beans were soupy, floating salad skimpy on veggies, tater salads too runny, Texas toast not toasted. With prices like this, it ought to be top notch.

First time here and it is very good !

Recommended by my brother-in-law, if that counts for anything. I had a sampler plate - bratwurst, Turkey, burnt end, brisket & fries. The meats were all very good, but the home cut fries were heavily salted! Too much salt is a no no for me!

My darling wife tried their burnt end sandwich & fries. She also said way too much salt on her fries, too.

They have two BBQ sauces and both were tasty.

The waiter was a young college student, typical in Columbia as the University of Missouri is here. He was attentive and polite!

4 $tars . . But might have been five with less salty fries!

Como Smoke and Fire should be a go to place for anyone who likes BBQ. All the foods we tried were delicious. We started with Jalapeno Bottle Caps and Portabella Mushroom Fries, both were really good. Jalapeno Bottle Caps was spicy and met my expectation. For Entrees we ordered Brisket, Sampler plate, Grilled Mac and Cheese Sandwich. Their House Made Fries was good but I recommend Sweet Potato Fries for little extra. I decided to have Floating Salad as one of my sides with Brisket Sandwich I ordered. Really enjoyed the little salad, recommended. Beef brisket meat was nicely cooked, not under or overdone. Sampler plate was nicely portioned with 4 different kinds of meat – turkey, beef brisket, pulled pork and hot dog. Foods were fresh and cooked on the spot. We decided to use the outdoor seating they provided, was not disappointed. We had to wait around 30 min to get our food because of a large group came right before us but it was worth the wait. Server did excellent job checking on us, refilling drinks etc. Make sure to try different type of BBQ sauce they offer inside. They have a big parking area in the back side of the restaurant. I highly recommend this place for any meat lover.
