Ms. Kim's Fish & Chicken Shack

The food here is always so good! Lots of flavor and the chicken is never dry! I find that’s often a problem with some chicken places, but not here! The staff is also super friendly! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Stopped by for lunch when I was traveling through the area. I ordered the GG special plate, which comes with 2 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of fish, 2 hush puppies, and 2 sides. I picked the red beans and rice side, and the mac and cheese side. Let me say that everything on the plate was absolutely wonderful. There was not a single thing that wasn't delicious in the mix. Even the restaurant's own hot sauce and house tartar sauce were extremely good. I then couldn't resist the call to finish this wonderful lunch with some of their banana pudding. Which was also wonderfully tasty. To anyone travelling through the Columbia area I highly recommend you making this a stop on your journey. And if you live in the area and haven't eaten here yet, then what's wrong with you? 5 stars for sure!!

Consistently delicious every time I go! Shrimp is amazing. Love the hush puppies. Fast, friendly service. Collard greens and red beans and rice are my top pics for sodes.

Awesome across the board. This was so good! Nice people, made me feel totally welcomed and relaxed. Food was excellent and arrived to me quick and hot. So good, I wish I lived closer so I could eat here more often.

We are from Kansas City and stopped on our way through Columbia and glad we did. Great atmosphere and good food. Friendly staff and a clean place. Nice crowd so it's a little wait for your food. We were glad we ordered ahead. Enjoy.
