Walk-On’s is a awesome place to watch sports events while you eat some good food. Lots of TVs everywhere. Came here to wash a NBA finals game. No sound from TV’s background music instead. So pretty cool arcade games to play anytime. The Food. cheeseburger sliders were very delicious. Could be a meal on its own. The poboy ribeye, for $20 I really wasn’t satisfied with this, had lots of fat. Although a decent menu will go back and try some different stuff. Very friendly service.
Food was great there was no wait on a Sunday at 7 which was great. Drinks were pretty good portions were big could have taken it home but ate it all. It was weird though i had a friend who ordered to go food for her family and the to go food came out before our regular food which i thought was backwards….the music was so loud i felt like we were yelling at eachother trying to have a conversation i really wish they would really consider lowering the volume a bit. Other than that it’s a nice restaurant service was good considering they just opened. May come back on a game day or something or in a few weeks to see what adjustments are made with the music.
Amazing! My family of 5 went this weekend and the service was great and fast! There were plenty of TVs around the venue as great entertainment while waiting for your meal. They also had a great selection of alcoholic beverages!
This is a new fantastic place to eat in Columbia. Lots of TV's for sports, fantastic atmosphere and we had top knotch service with wonderfully seasoned food. I will defend be returning.
Walk-On's has a really nice feel overall, will be a great place to grab food and watch games with the guys.
Plenty of TV's in the building, there is a lot to choose from on the menu as well.
Overall service experience, host table and servers all did a great job, the buzzers were very attentive and quick to grab things when we finished plates.
Overall food opinions:
Gator Bites: They are perfectly breaded, fried and seasoned, I will for sure get those when I come back next.
Crawfish Etouffee:
It was not the size serving I was expecting, but still was filling, The roux itself was delicious, but I think it would do well with a little "heat" added to it.
Ahi Tuna Bowl:
Tuna itself was delicious had a nice smoky flavor to it, the sauce it had on it was also quite delicious. Wish the edamame had been warmed instead of cold.
Surf and Turf Melt:
The burger was cooked well and was very juicy, the shrimp and sauce on it were very tasty as well. Fries were a little over-salted
Bread Pudding: had a very nice flavor and consistency, I do wish it was bigger or came with ice cream.
Some growing pains for sure but will definitely be back when this place launches Monday!
