“The restaurant is tastefully decorated. We ordered from the lunch menu. I started with the french onion soup; outstanding flavor. Then had the Tuesday daily-special burger with fries. Burger was cheese-stuffed...delicious! Fries were very good. My sister had the Caesar salad, chicken tenders, and asparagus side. She loved it. We're already talking about how soon we will go back to Hoolies! We'll ask for Chris to be our server.”

“We stopped for lunch, were immediately seated and drink orders taken. Our server, Amy, was friendly and efficient. I had lemon pepper trout, which was perfectly cooked. There is a large selection of sides. I chose salad and fried okra, which for my taste was undercooked. My friend had chicken fried chicken with okra, potatoes and gravy and green beans. He received two large chicken breasts, which were delicious, but agreed the okra wasn’t crispy. We enjoyed our meal and would return when in Columbia.”

“This place is consistently great. The meat is always tender and delicious, and they have a good variety of meats to choose from. Pictured are the bbq chicken nachos and the pork platter (sides are fries and apple sauce). My girlfriend and I thought both dishes were very good, and our waitress was excellent. Also pictured, next to the nachos, is the add-a-rib I got. The meat was falling off the bone and it tasted delicious. Bandanas also has 6 different sauce flavors, which you can see behind my glass in the nachos picture. All-in-all, it was a great lunch and I would recommend this place if you're looking for good BBQ.”

“The food is very fresh and tasty. Our service was helpful and attentive. We did have one problem with an entree but the waitress and manager took the item off of our bill without us even asking for it. They even offered to make a replacement to take home free of charge. We declined the offer but appreciated the gesture. A nice place to grab a quick bite to eat, especially when you're already going grocery shopping!”

“If you like a buffet this place is for you! Staff was friendly and helpful! Unfortunately, I'm not much of a buffet person so I may have an unpopular opinion. Large variety of food, all of which was rather salty or buttery, but seemed unseasoned otherwise. As a nurse, it bothers me seeing everyone serve themselves using same serving utensils. Some people's hand hygiene is questionable at best. Lots of staff waiting around the entrance, being noisy and obnoxious, not sure of their actual roles in the restaurant. Steep up-charge for a fountain drink, although you get unlimited refills. Not sure if you tip the waitress for clearing your table? Are they a waitress if you are serving yourself? Altogether, a very confusing experience, again I'm not a buffet person.”

When our food came out a different server dropped the whole burger on the floor. They quickly went to cook a replacement. In the mean time the manager came out and apologized.
