Norty's Bar & Grill

Food was excellent, among the best sushi I've had, but the service was terrible. I've only been once so it may have just been that it was a busy night or that our particular waiter was just bad but I'm not sure that I would go back. The layout of the restaurant was also a little cramped. There are two narrow aisles between tables so if you're headed to the bathroom (or to the bar because you're tired of waiting for the waiter to come back and get you a drink), you have to wait for traffic to clear up to get by. Our food took a long time to come out, but at least they recognized that and brought us some appetizers on the house. We had a late night reservation so probably shouldn't fault them on this, but there were a few things they ran out of that limited our options. They ran out of Dunkel so I had to go with another drink option that was good, but not really what I wanted. They also ran out of Salmon which we weren't told about until after we took the time to decide on our order which meant we had to reconsider half our choices. While I may be nitpicking a bit, all the little inconveniences and issues added up to a somewhat frustrating and disappointing experience that I'm not likely to attempt again soon. As far as recommendations go, we really enjoyed the crossroads roll. Yin and yang was like half flavor, half not. We really liked the half that was wrapped in seaweed (not sure if that was yin or if it was yang ?). The mango tango was also really good. The spicy roll kinda lacked in flavor compared to the others but wasn't bad.

Truly a St. Joe staple! Norty's has a great environment, delicious food and friendly staff. I like that they have plenty of outdoor seating.

I love the the smiles with service. Helpful too. . i have an electric scooter bc can't walk far.
and it was dying and the kind lady let me charge it and served me what I wanted to drink. .love the music too Food smelled great. Enjoy!
