My favorite place! My filet was perfect, as usual. The new measures taken for social distancing with plexiglass between tables is a clever idea.

I am amazed at the attentiveness of the staff. Everyone seemed to care that our food was great and that we were having a great time. The chicken fried steak was great, both in size and flavor.

Granted, there was some breading without steak inside, but there was far more meat than I needed, I took home more than I could eat there. Probably three meals worth for 11 bucks. What a bargain! The dinner rolls were spectacular, I took home 4 of those too.

Kathys New York Strip was great too, though not as buttery-tender as the filet she had the last time we ate here, but that was to be expected. It was cooked just right and she took home enough for a couple of meals as well.

Only down sides were the noise, and squeezing my plumpness into a booth (because the wait for a table was 15 minutes.). Definitely on our list of "be-backs".
