Tomo Japanese Restaurant

The food is great, but vegetarian options are limited. Please add a few "fancy" vegetarian rolls to your menu. Maybe a bigger one with sweet potato, tofu, eggplant, asparagus, inari? It would be nice to have something other than just cucumbers and avocado. Thank you!

This place is fantastic! Big portions for excellent prices! I was so full but couldn't stop eating because the food is that delicious! Customer service is excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

The sushi ordered was excellent, but took a long time to receive as only one person was making all the sushi rolls. If service was a little better and food was out sooner, I would rate 5 stars. I would go back to try again and hopefully service and time improves.

Excellent new restaurant in the St Joseph area. We sorely missed seeing the Oriental Restaurant close but I think that this will be a welcome new addition to the community. Service was a little slow as they get into a routine but the kindness of the employees and the taste of the food easily make up for this. We were there at lunch time, will need to make this a stop when we are back in town for dinner.

Sushi was by far the best part of the meal. The bagel roll and Godzilla roll were wonderful. Seaweed salad was also very good. Hibachi filet was great too. Even though they were understaffed, the server was very attentive and polite. He visited our table often enough, kept it clean, filled our waters, and was overall very friendly. Came here for dinner on a 100° day, the restaurant was probably 85° inside. Hopefully they get air figured out. Glad to have such great sushi in St Joseph, will be returning.
