It was a great experience. Food was great and service was great.

This is by far the best Ryan's I've ever eaten at (and I've eaten at ones as far away as South Carolina). It's pretty evident since it's essentially the only one left open (at least in this area.) The buffet is fresher than most buffets and has a good variety of foods. The steak on the buffet has great flavor, though it can be a bit tough at times. The turkey is so good and the rolls...I'm getting hungry just writing this. The wait staff is a mixed bag. Some are really good, others not so much. It's looking a bit run down these days, but it doesn't appear to have had a negative impact on the quality of the food. It's been one of my favorite places to eat in Poplar Bluff.

People come here mainly for the salad and hot bar. It's a all you can eat (there) restaurant. They serve all different foods from pizza to steak to even some ethnic foods. Good place if you have a people who don't know what they want to eat ?

My husband and I both believe that Ryan's use to serve a better selection. He is more of a beef eater and not much on chicken. However, I enjoyed the chicken pot pie. They use to do whole turkeys then have them in a pan of the best gravy, and I miss that. There was turkey but it wasn't off a fresh turkey. The dessert bar left a lot to be desired, there was barely anything on it.
