Very friendly and food tasted delicious had the tenderloin dinner with sweet potatoes fries onion rings. Wife had tenderloin dinner with orkra and fries. Daughter had cheese burger with mac and cheese. Also bought a appetizer of little smokes wrap in bacon in a brown sugar sauce. Kiddo loved them...
Had a great experience and will definitely be going back to try out more fantastic food from there.
Food was delicious! Service is a little slow but very friendly staff!
It was absolutely fantastic. My wife got the bacon burger and I got the Turkey hot plate with a side of corn nuggets. The kids both got the chicken quesadilla with tater tots. Everything was freshly cooked and cooked well. The waitress was great, kept our drinks full, and was pleasant to talk to.
We were visiting some of the local historical sites and were looking for a place to eat dinner.
We did a quick search and found this place. It is country style cooking and was pretty good. Nothing out of this world but also not bad either.
The corn poppers/fritters were really good, I highly recommend getting those. The home style fries were also good and the chicken. Some of the other dishes (Chicken fried steak) was just okay.
Our waitress was very friendly too.
The prices were also very reasonable. A full meal with 2 sides for under $10 which you can’t beat.
You'll find the remodel almost done. The detail in some of the artwork is tremendous, and a lot of work has gone in to making this little restaurant a fun place to visit. Soon the ice cream parlor will be finished, and could be finished as I'm writing this post. Take time to look around for a little fun things hidden in the artwork. Had a great time while we were there and great food.
