Baxter's Lakeside Grille

First, the staff at Baxter’s is always polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. They truly set the bar for a wonderful customer experience, and the management (Corey, Ashley, and Ted) are simply put - amazing people.

Secondly, the food is always excellent, consistent, and memorable. The first thing I wanted (sorry, demanded from my husband) after a long nine months of pregnancy was the ooey gooey butter cake. As always, it has never disappointed.

Thank you again to the wonderful staff at Baxter’s and for all the little things I’ve not mentioned in this review (clean bathrooms, great atmosphere, competitive pricing, etc) that make this our go to restaurant at home.

Came for happy hour on Wednesday afternoon. Calamari and potato skins buy one get one apps was what we ordered. Hands down best calamari on the lake! Service and the rest of the food was great too. We’ll be back.

We loved our experience here! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Baxter's and it was so worth it. The food was fabulous, service was excellent, and the views were amazing. They even gave us a celebratory dessert and personalized card with our printed picture in it, such a charming touch! We loved it so much we went back a second night.

My husband and I ate here on our vacation and loved it. The restaurant was clean with a very friendly and professional staff. The drink menu is extensive. I had the key lime margarita and it was so yummy! We both had the special for the day which was an 8 oz sirloin, mashed potatoes and soup or salad. It was all delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. Every menu item we saw brought to other tables (ribs, pasta, dish, desserts, etc) all looked amazing. Several of the tables overlooked the lake for a beautiful view. It would be great for couples, families, or groups of friends. Prices were reasonable.

We have been to Baxter's 3 times now. Always exceptionally great service. This is a pricier establishment, but the food is up to the task. The rolls are exquisite, the salads fresh, the beer cold, and the steaks cut like warm butter. The sides are great too, and the trio desert was one of the best I've had. To top off this experience the restaurant is on a hill overlooking the lake with a great view perfect for pictures.
