You can easily have a great time here. Choose to go here over a tourist spot or chain while at the lake of the Ozarks. Please do not neglect to try the zesty horseradish sauce with your onion rings or fries. Don’t miss the “very hot” BBQ sauce only available by request either! I really appreciate them offering both styles of Cole slaw. My friend had their beans and enjoyed them.
Good food. Large portions. Cheap. Great service. I would definitely go back.
The serving size was More then enough of Delicious Food! And the service was Wonderful! Julie was Very Sweet and polite. Thank you Julie for being So Kind!
Tldr; food is very good, Dakota is great, kitchen staff needs a little work.
First time eating at HalfSauced and the food was very good. Dakota, our server, was extremely friendly and helpful, which is hard to find when you have a party of six.
Unfortunately, and the reason why I gave four stars, it took quite awhile to get our food. One of the people at our table got their order wrong, and one didn't get her food until we were all almost done with ours. The order that was wrong, we got green beans instead of potato salad, and Dakota desperately tried to get fixed, and she apologized profusely, but the kitchen gave her attitude and we *never* got it.
We also had a problem with one of the other waitresses (maybe hostess? I'm not sure who she was) giving us an attitude about the potato salad as well when we asked about it having celery in it.
Otherwise, the brisket was DELICIOUS; it is so hard to cook brisket perfectly, and this was the best brisket I've ever eaten. It almost melted in your mouth! The smoked turkey was also good, and the pulled pork was as well.
