Mary Jane bourbon + smokehouse

Came here for lunch, the food and service was absolutely phenomenal! I had the cold brew White Russian and I could’ve had six more! The Always Sunny sandwhich was also delicious! Phil was our server and I would definitely recommend coming here for a quick, but excellent lunch!

I visited Mary Jane’s for a dinner with friends on Saturday, and the atmosphere alone gives it the easiest 5 stars rating for me. The two tier level is impressive and the soft lighting made everyone in my party feel relaxed as we enjoyed an amazing dinner. We ordered multiple appetizers, which were all fantastic, and this is coming from a guy that isn’t big on eating his greens (I recommend the house pickles and fried green beans). The drinks and main course were savory, and they gave big portions for a more than fair dollar tag; dessert was incredible. Best of all the staff were upbeat, friendly, prompt and overall some of the most pleasant people to hang out with for the evening. Highly recommend.

I want to love this place, and will go back. I've been three times, the only time that was a total win was a sandwich I had for lunch. My two dinners I've ordered weren't good, but I know tons of people who have ordered the same items and I've eaten their leftovers. I think once everyone gets comfortable in the kitchen, this place will be capes most unique and cool restaurants.

Update: Changing to 4 stars on the simple fact that the owner already reached out to me to talk about my visit and my review. Taking that much pride in your business and your customer's experience earns my respect. More to come. Original post: This place has a great atmosphere and theme. They recently opened and seem to still be working the kinks out. They have a good selection of bourbon. They are still in the process of getting all the bourbons on their menu. So, don't be surprised if they don't have some of the rarer ones yet. Food was fantastic! I recommend the half-chicken with the broccoli salad and cucumber salad. I will definitely give this place another try the next time I'm in town.
