Sands Pancake House

Wonderful waitstaff and speedy food. Good for the price but I was a little disappointed. My pancake had raw batter in the middle, which I'm okay with because that's how I like my pancakes, but others probably won't like that very much. Everything but my pancake was cold by the time I got it. But everything was clean and nice. Worth another shot, I think!

I got M&M pancakes with a side of seasoned hash browns. I enjoyed the food thoroughly. The service was prompt. The environment was nice. Was there around 11 AM on Sunday and there was a wait but it wasn’t that long. They just needed to clear a table for two. It was a friendly atmosphere and was packed but not in a way that was overwhelming. I think if there had been a few more waiting people it woulda been cause there wasn’t really a place to wait. The food was nicely priced as well. I should have taken a picture of the menu to include as the one I found online was outdated with different prices. But my meal here was like $8-9 iirc.

A local gem. Sands has been open since the 50's I believe. The pancakes are gigantic and very tasty. Most meals are modestly priced. Usually you can pack your gut for about 6 bucks.

Some of the best mom 'n pop diner food in town. Generous helpings at a fair price!
You will not leave hungry or disappointed,for sure. Staff is friendly and give great service! Try this if you're tired of these blockbuster restaurants,then go to Sands for a better taste of Life!!
