My girlfriend really loved getting peed on by the chef's little water bottle! My self I enjoyed it for Lunch was not over crowded. The hibachi part is always a fun experience!
Would give it five Stars but there is just not any five star restaurant's in Cape Girardeau!

Love this place!!! The sushi special at lunch is reasonably priced and delicious. I would highly recommend the hibachi. I have been many times and always enjoy the show of knives, fire, and humor while seeing my food cooked in front of me. The amount of food is substantial, and I always take home leftovers. Even the leftovers are great a day later. There is a great family atmosphere. For dinner and a show, this place is a great deal!

This place is great! It is clean and the service is excellent! But the food is really really good!! The fried rice and hibachi is all great and the sushi rolls are enormous and outstanding!! Was very impressed! And they have vegetarian options which is always nice and not always the case! So thanks! Awesome experience!! The service was great and the food was awesome! We will come back again next time we are in Cape!

Watami is an interesting juxtaposition to Shogun Sushi just down the road. Shogun is simple, clean. Small, sushi in bite sized pieces. A relatively traditional experience. Watami serves these massive rolls the side of an arm and layers it on with extravagant decor that has no clear focus at all. Over all they're simply trying too hard for their own good.
