    It’s worth the drive folks. It was a huge pork steak, very tender and with lots of flavor. The sides were really good also.

    Charlie's Smokehouse BBQ is a fantastic place to stop and eat. They serve breakfast in the morning, and the regular menu after 10:30. I ordered the barbecue on Texas toast with baked beans and was impressed; the meat was lean and savory. They make their own sauces, and even invented a spicy bbq version! This restaurant is a classic example of dine in, highway atmosphere where the food is delicious and everyone is friendly!
