If you live in Pleasant Hill and don't want to make the truck to a larger city, this is definitely the Mexican restaurant to choose! I have eaten frequently at both, and this one is far superior to the only other option in town. The food is delicious with generous portion sizes. And while it's not totally relevant, the plates and bowls are really cool. Happy hour specials are great and the Margaritas are delicious. I'm pretty certain that the mango margarita had actual real mango in it, which is not always the case! I hope that this establishment stays open. After selling and reopening a couple of years ago, it is not as busy as the old business that was here. But it is much the best option in town for Mexican. Comparing the two choices in town, the food here is far more flavorful and there aren't hidden fees. At the other restaurant if you ask for hot sauce they will bring you it... and then charge you $1.50. The food is generally lackluster and the service is always surly and lacking. The service here was excellent, the food flavorful, and the price just right! Not much to be done about the atmosphere when you're limited to a strip mall in a small town.

This was our first visit to Xolo. We were dining in. The chips were thin and crispy. Just like I like them. The salsa was a little chunky and had just enough zest that it wasn't too spicy but good. The fajitas were excellent and the Fajita Quesadilla was loaded. We were very pleased with the food, the service was good as well. The top shelf Margarita was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Had the burrito and lived it. This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in P Hill! Great chips and salsa to get my family started. All 4 of us loved our food and will 100% be back

Very good steak tacos. My wife enjoyed her seafood enchiladas. The rice here is awesome. The margaritas were a little tart for my taste. The chips were a little stale and the salsa doesn’t have very much spice to it. The service was great. Food was on the pricey side but to eat local was well worth it.
