Popi’s Mexican Restaurant

This place has great food and hardy portions. The only thing I would have liked was a margarita with my tacos but I was told the owner of the strip mall doesn't allow alcohol to be served. We were there on a Saturday for lunch and it appeared that they only had one server working and she was overwhelmed as it was the same weekend as the Peciliar Harvest Moon Festival, but she still did a great job. It a smaller place, I don't think you could have a party bigger than 8.

Wow ! I had no idea this food was this good ! I have been missing out. The flavor of the salsa ? Incredible. Cheese dip is fantastic and these street tacos are definitely something to write home about. You have a frequent customer after today !

Cant beat the prices and service! Taco Tuesday is the best around! Taste great! Mexican rice is super! Need to improve the cheese dip though!

December 22, 2021 - My co-worker and I decided to eat dinner here as we were so hungry. This was our first visit (and won't be the last). We both had the ' Burrito Rio ' which was one of the specials of the night. No kidding...it was as big as the platter with the inside chock full of beef tips which was very tender, rice and beans. Presented with red sauce and queso cheese. Delicious and very filling. Best of all the owner and co-owner used to work at a Mexican restaurant I frequent. Now they are just starting out and the place is small but carry out is available. No liquor is served as the landlord of the shopping center wouldn't allow that. The way the business is going they will out grow the space soon. Service was ' spot on ' and it was a great choice to dine there! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger..." I'll be back " !!
