This is the Country Cooking you are looking for. From the service to the atmosphere, it is the perfect country picture of how it use to be. The good news is....we can still enjoy it today...not to forget that the menu items are perfectly cooked and amazing ?....we are big fans !!!!!

We had a party of nine for my birthday. The fried chicken. Was so good. We had excellent service and the staff checked on us numerous times. We will be back!

In all my years of frequenting Gateway I have NEVER not once got a bad meal here.
The atmosphere is great and full of energy, you can talk and eat without everyone in the place hearing your conversation!
A very diverse crowd of people from lake goers to cowboys and just good old down home people.
Prices are spot on and refills are very well timed.
I just don’t go anywhere and trust anyone with my food so this is my go to place and I have never been let down!

The food is delicious!! We had the chicken fried steak and the patty melt! Came out hot and fresh! Get some pie to go too! The staff are super friendly and the owner checked in with us regularly! High quality service and food! We will definitely be coming back!
