    EAT HERE!!!!!
    If you have not made your way down (or up) to Ozark to eat at this place, you have truly missed out. I cannot say enough about the amazing down home cooking that comes out of their kitchen. HOLY COW!!!
    So yes, this is the first time I've visited but let me explain......I grew up just a few miles from Ozark. I'm an Ozark "hillbilly" but I'm also a veteran and I've traveled the world and eaten off of menus from 100+ countried. So, tonight, I called in a to-go order for some of their fried chicken (because I've heard it's amazing) but when I walked in, their specials board had chicken liver /chicken gizzards on it! Whaaaaat???? I LOVE liver. And so I stayed and ate in....and their livers were THE best I've ever had. Ever. And of course, when my to go order came out, I tasted the fried chicken too. It was fabulous!
    And now, Rose Jo's may be my absolute favorite place to eat when I want something that reminds me of my granny's cooking. Seriously.
    EAT HERE!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

    I had the ham steak breakfast which was very good. The service was great and the coffee was even greater. I will be going back for another meal.
