Love this place so much! And to my surprise, they were open inside which was great because I always prefer eating in. Tables spaced good too.

I love Burnt ends and they definitely did not disappoint! They were really juicy and tender and I almost felt ashamed to dip them in there house BBQ sauce.
The burnt end chili was also REALLY good and hearty! The chili did come loaded with cheese and chives so if you do not like that ask them to hold it.
I've never seen corned beef at a BBQ joint before and had to try that as well and it was very good but just a little dry. The brisket and turkey was also a like dry but had good smoked flavor.
We will certainly be eating there again!!

Burnt ends are always tasty and so are the sweet potato fries. Love the selection of sauces.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. We were here on business and were told we had to come here by a friend. I ordered a half a rack of ribs and they were some of the best I have ever had. Meat was almost falling off and they tasted amazing. The service was great. Food was ready in only a few minutes. Maybe only downside is there isn’t much parking outside but other that that if you are in the area you need to stop by and have lunch here!

Everything about Hawg Jaw was great on our first visit. All the meats were well cooked with a great balance of smoke flavor. I loved that they had smoked corned beef. The mac and cheese, BBQ beans, potato salad were all excellent. The fries are lightly battered and super crispy and fresh. They even had smoked ketchup! 3 different BBQ sauces were all good. The brisket nachos with beans added were pretty impressive. Even the kids meal hot dog was perfect. Casual and not fussy environment, but clean and not a dive. I would definitely recommend a visit. As good as any BBQ I have had in the area. Deserves a spot on everyone's list of the best in KC.
