La Costa Mexicana

This restaurant gives awesome service as well as delightful menu. The best restaurant in town. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the rates are reasonable. I recommend this place.

This is our new spot. Staff is Great. Food is as Authentic as you can get in MO. Drinks are tasty. Prices are reasonable. I recommend the Street Tacos.

La Costa was a mixed bag experience for my girlfriend and I. Some things were very good. Some things were not.

We ate there on a Saturday night from 6pm-7pm. It is a little difficult to figure out the entrance. You go through the door on the right and it is a shared entrance so then go through the door on the left to get inside. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server was Abi. He was nice, but seemed rushed fairly early on.

We had decided to not get a cheese dip appetizer as my girlfriend does not like spinach. However, upon finding this out our server told us we would not taste the spinach and he was right. He brought us a sample for free so we could try and we decided to get it. The dip was smooth with just a little kick. Some of the best queso I’ve had.

My girlfriend ordered the Fajita Chicken Quesadilla. It was excellent. Really good combination of taste and was presented really well.

I got the steak fajitas. The steak was a little tough. Also the refried beans were tasteless. The rice was good and the flour tortillas were nice and warm and did not stick together.

Overall the experience was not as good as I was hoping with a 4.4 star rating on google. We are in hopes all can be good if we decide to visit again.
