James Kennedy Family Restaurant

Three people, three different meals and they were all delicious! Friendly service and great atmosphere.

We were at Kennedy's with a large group of friends today. The food and service were exemplary. When requested items were not available, substitutions were made with no charge to the customer. Two of us split the tenderloin sandwich, and it was plenty. The tenderloin was well seasoned and very tender. We were also offered additional drinks to go. We would definitely a return trip to Smithville just for this restaurant.

Hometown place. Great food and even better customer service. You are always greeted with a smile.

We have lived in Plattsburg for a few weeks. Our new home is being remodeled, so Kennedy's has been a frequent spot for my family of 6. We eat there about 3x a week all times of the day. The food is amazing, atmosphere makes you feel right at home, and the staff has been phenomenal. No matter who our waitress/cook has been, they have always been awesome.
