I am so happy I stopped here! This is one of the best plates of BBQ I have had in a long time! Highly recommend the Burnt ends dinner! OMG
Exceptional local BBQ joint. Great people running the place, really good 'cue. Boss Hogg Sandwich with tots, cold tea hit the smoked meat spot. BBQ Platters are a great way to share a meal and sample the goods.
Road trip with my husband. Stopped for a late lunch. We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly. Food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. My hubby had the boss hog sandwich and I had a platter with ribs and brisket. SO DELICIOUS. I was kinda sad once it was all eaten. I would stop again if I was in town. Highly recommend you eat here.
Plus the bathroom is a jail cell... so cool.
Thanks for a great lunch!
A cool little hole in the wall diner with a lot of history in the building. Everyone was super friendly and my grub came out quickly. I tried the pulled pork sandwich, Carolina style. Their slaw is a little different than the normal, homemade and delicious none the less. Their in house sauce was good enough that I bought some to take home. Prices are very reasonable too. Would definitely stop here again! Keep up the great food!
We were a party of four for dinner on a weeknight. We were seated right away. Service was good; only had to ask once to have my water glass refilled. They gave us a couple of samples of food we were interested in trying, which is great service. We tried three appetizers: the pickle fries were a good concept that did not turn out so well. The breading did not stay on the pickles, probably because they were sliced too thin. The cheese balls were good. And the German sausage had a nice flavor. I had the ham sandwich for dinner, with beans as my side. Other parties had: a double stack dinner plate with pulled pork and ham, the smoked baked potato, and a Reuben. Observations: the ham is super salty, which I like but others didn't. Great bread on that sandwich. The beans, and smoky mac and cheese were spicy/hot. The beans were also sweet. The BBQ sauce is quite sweet overall. The pulled pork was fine (have had better), the baked potato was huge with lots of pork.
