Dboy’s Skillet

Delicious food, sweet owners, nice atmosphere. You feel like you're in a shop your grandma would always frequent. The meats are cooked fresh and the sides are slow-cooked overnight. My only ding would be that I was filled up too fast and couldn't eat more.

The blue Skillet has plenty of parking and is easily seen from the road. They have won two Awards on their chicken and we enjoyed our experience there. They have collard greens they have sweet potatoes and other things that you don't normally find at restaurants obviously it's a family-owned. We got a real kick out of their ice

The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. I had the fish and it was lightly battered and straight out of the fryer. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed their food. We will go back!

In Jefferson City visiting, Googled restaurants and it was destiny this place came up! Destiny since my belly needed filled and I always like trying unique local places and very glad I came here. Not only do they greet you when you walk in, these ladies are super friendly and helpful. Down home cooking with down home kindness. I tried the fried fish... oh my goodness, it was delicious. Okra, sweet potatoes, and green beans were great. My wife ordered fried chicken, I have not had chicken that good since my grandmother walked this earth. If you are looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere, you're missing out by not coming here. Go go go!
